Quiniela Popular

Privacy & Terms

Last updated: April 2026

Quiniela Popular (“the Pool”) is a private World Cup 2026 prediction game run for friends and family. This page describes what we collect, how we use it, and the rules of participation. By using the Pool you agree to these terms.

1. What we collect

We do not collect: email addresses, real names (unless you put one as your display name), payment information, location data, browser fingerprints, or third-party tracking cookies.

2. How we use it

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with anyone. There are no advertising networks, no analytics platforms, no third-party trackers.

3. Where it lives

Data is stored in a single SQLite database hosted on Railway (railway.com). WhatsApp messages, if you opt in, are delivered via Twilio (twilio.com). No other third party processes your data.

4. Your rights

You may at any time:

If you are in the EU (GDPR) or Brazil (LGPD), the same rights apply. Contact the pool admin to exercise them.

5. Retention

Predictions, scores, and the leaderboard are kept until the end of the tournament and for a reasonable time afterward (typically a few months) so participants can revisit results. After that, the database may be archived or deleted at the admin's discretion. You can request earlier deletion at any time.

6. Security

The admin panel is password-protected. Magic-link tokens are random and effectively unguessable, but they ARE the login — anyone with your link can submit predictions as you. Treat the link like a password: don't share it, don't post screenshots that include the URL bar.

7. Terms of use

8. Changes

If anything material here changes, the “Last updated” date at the top will reflect it. For a friends-only pool we don't expect substantive changes during the tournament.
